- Visiting Ludlow, buying delicious food, bringing it home to cook
You should know
- There isn't a washing machine, but there is a good laundry nearby
- It's five miles to the nearest shop so don't forget anything
- Children are welcome but you need to watch non-swimmers around the lake and sign a disclaimer
A perfect place to take our puppy on her first trip away from home. Stunning countryside and scenery with four lakes to stroll around and a rowing boat to use. One of the lakes has an antique summerhouse with deckchairs and camping seats. We saw deer, a woodpecker and one of the family's dogs came to pay us a visit. Our pup enjoyed the free dog biscuits and spending all of her time 'off lead' in safety. We loved the beautifully furnished interior of the lodge with all mod cons and the very comfy sun loungers outside. We were so sad to leave but are taking lots of happy memories with us!
