Mill Fosse Cottage

We had a wonderful time here. The accommodation is very quirky and to a very high standard. We have stayed in many cottages over the years and yours rated as one of the best, if not the best. The attention to detail makes all the difference, the high quality fixtures and fittings, the lovely welcome basket (not just a pint of milk and a loaf of bread) with local food to try. The toiletries. Great cooking facilities and lovely crockery. And, of course, the basket of very useful things for our dog, never experienced this before.

We had a hugely enjoyable time in the Dales. Over the years we’ve stayed in many rental properties and your cottage wins our award for the best ever. It’s imaginatively and tastefully restored, characterful without being twee, very well equipped, and has a wonderful bed.

We loved our stay in this gem of a cottage! Every detail of comfort, convenience and style carefully thought through. Thank you especially for the hamper of treats and excellent maps. It was a very memorable stay and thanks most kindly.

What a fab time we had in your cottage and the lovely surroundings. We really admired the way you have renovated the house, some really inspirational ideas. Loved the welcome pack, the wine etc in the fridge and the generous supply of logs - everything you provided was generous and that is lovely. I always use Alastair Sawday for booking holidays and he is always spot on, never had a bad one. Mill Fosse Cottage was up there with the really memorable breaks.
