- The outside space: it's gorgeous and the roof terrace really has the wow factor
- The homely traditional feel, thick walls keep you cool in summer and warm in winter, and check out the kitchen seats made from the original stone hay mangers
- Tucking into the generous welcome hamper: port, wine, Portuguese beer, orange juice, bread, butter, ham, sardines, and a basket of fruit
You should know
- The road up here is pretty narrow
- Parking is shared with the neighbouring farmhouse
- It's a 20-minute drive to the nearest sandy beach
The property is delightful, everything you would need for a lovely
holiday. The views from the terrace are amazing and therefore make this
space very special indeed. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here myself.
You can enjoy the peaceful countryside with plenty of wonderful walks
locally, wonderful restaurants nearby or 20 minutes away the sea beckons
with Algarve's stunning beaches.

We had a wonderful stay and can highly recommend this property. Brian was brilliant and very responsive, sending us tips on places to go as well. The welcome pack at the cottage was the most generous we’ve ever had. Thank you! The cottage was lovely, the pool beautiful in a private area (gated), and the many seating areas capturing the sun throughout the day were perfect. A mention for the rooftop terrace (also gated access): a perfect place to watch the hills and valley dim from early evening sun to starry sky. A wonderful stay. We can't wait to return.
