Bedrooms upstairs are equally gorgeous, with thick wool carpets and cosy beds decked in white linen; the master steals the show with a French balcony overlooking the waves, the twin gazes out to the rolling garden, and the compact double with a porthole window is tucked under the roof, reached up steep stairs. State-of-the-art bathrooms with candles and smellies are a delight. Rustle up a picnic (rugs, basket, cool bags provided) and head to the coves; serious walkers can tramp the Lizard Walk (two hours). You're also a short drive from pubs, shops and good eateries... who wouldn't love it here?
