The Durham Ox, York

Just outside York, and a 15-minute taxi from Thirsk station, this award-winning dog-friendly pun in the peaceful village of Crayke delivers charm in spades. At its heart is a cosy pub full of character, with a beer garden, log burners, private dining and local gins.
