Crookwath Cottage

We had 4 blissful days at Crookwath Cottage and didn’t want to leave. What a perfect place with stunning views and so many fantastic walks in the surrounding beautiful countryside. The house was perfect, cozy and comfortable, and equipped with everything you need. We will definitely come back. It was our idea of a perfect holiday.

We had a wonderful week at this cosy and lovely cottage. The weather was amazing and we spend many days hiking straight from the back door through the beautiful landscape up and down the Lake District mountains. Gina and Richard are lovely and helpful hosts which gave us lots and lots of tips what to do and where to go. The cottage has everything you need for a relaxed holiday. It has a well-equipped and spacious kitchen, beds are super comfy and the garden is full of birds. A wonderful get-away-from-it-all place to stay!

We loved exploring Lucy’s Wood and will always remember our exhilarating wild swim in the Beck! What a wonderful place you have- it has everything one could want and more to create a most memorable holiday! You two have been such fabulous hosts-we sincerely hope to be back again. Walking around Lucy’s Wood along the celandine strewn banks of the Aira Beck was such a joy. Jen the Dog was a superstar too! Thank you!!
