Sock Cottage

If only we had booked more than 3 days at Sock Cottage!! Sarah and Andy made us feel very welcome, and ensured that we had everything we needed - including excellent recommendations for the local pubs. The cottage could not have been more idyllic - fully stocked with the most amazing and fresh local breakfast goodies, and a perfect place for us to hide away in for a few days. We will visit again no doubt. Its a must!

This is a truly charming cottage, restored with great care, craftsmanship and thought. It exceeds its promises. We found everything beautifully presented, immaculately clean and very welcoming, and were at once, at home with all we could need and much more! Lovely bed linen, fresh flowers, and Sarah and Andy, so accomodating and welcoming, and providing any extra attention they could lavish. We felt very cared for in the beautiful surroundings of their farm set in the peace of the lovely Somerset countryside. This was a haven and a privilege!

I booked Sarah and Andy's cottage for a romantic (proposal) getaway for me and my partner (now fiancee). The cottage itself was extremely well presented and we felt at home straight away. The location was exactly what I was looking for, rural but well connected, ideal for long beautiful walks into the surrounding countryside and to National Trust properties. Sarah and Andy were welcoming but not intrusive during our stay. They welcomed us into their farm house for a cup of tea when we arrived and gave us a wealth of ideas for activities in the area. We'll definitely be coming back!
