The Old Post House Barn

We had a perfect weekend! Cosy rooms with everything we needed and lovely extra touches. Karen and Paul were fantastic hosts and the friendly and reasonably priced pub over the road meant that we didn't have to cook! The village was delightful and we walked through fields of lambs with great views over the hills. Lots to explore at a short drive away.

Lovely barn in the heart of the village. Spacious accommodation, hosted by friendly hosts. I personally enjoyed the powerful shower and large en-suite. Would highly recommend.

We had a really lovely peaceful and relaxing time at The Barn. Karen and Paul were excellent hosts and were helpful and welcoming. The Barn has everything you need for a luxurious stay and it had a really cosy atmosphere. The location was excellent and accessible to lots of interesting villages and towns.

The barn was absolutely perfect for our family weekend, exactly what we’d hoped for. It is so cosy and in such a perfect location, with lovely walks from the doorstep. Ideal midway point for us coming from London and Cheshire, we will definitely be planning another visit. Thank you Karen.

What a gem, the barn is so comfortable, spotlessly clean and simply charming. It is in a fantastic location being just a short drive from beautiful chocolate box villages and stunning walks. The village pub just across the road from the barn is welcoming and serves excellent hearty pub grub. The cottage host was friendly and knowledgeable about the local area and the chilled fizz and primed log burner waiting for us were a lovely touch. We will definitely be returning, wonderful stay, thank you.
