The Old Post House Barn

The barn was absolutely perfect for our family weekend, exactly what we’d hoped for. It is so cosy and in such a perfect location, with lovely walks from the doorstep. Ideal midway point for us coming from London and Cheshire, we will definitely be planning another visit. Thank you Karen.

What a gem, the barn is so comfortable, spotlessly clean and simply charming. It is in a fantastic location being just a short drive from beautiful chocolate box villages and stunning walks. The village pub just across the road from the barn is welcoming and serves excellent hearty pub grub. The cottage host was friendly and knowledgeable about the local area and the chilled fizz and primed log burner waiting for us were a lovely touch. We will definitely be returning, wonderful stay, thank you.

Such a beautiful barn conversion and place to stay. It was my first visit to the area and it didn’t disappoint . Karen is a very friendly host who gave us lots of information on places to visit. The Star Inn across the road is a lovely village pub. What a lovely place to stay!

An excellent base for exploring the area with luxury barn conversion to return to. Comfy beds, Woodburn, and everything we needed for our stay. Friendly welcome and village, and definitely plan to return.

A lovely three days stay at last after having to cancel twice over the last 18 months; worth the wait to experience Karen and Paul’s friendly and generous welcome to their beautiful barn. We only scraped the surface of places to visit within half an hour’s journey, so will definitely be back again to further explore and relax in front of the wood burner and cross the road to tasty pub food at The Star. Then again, the very well equipped kitchen beckons too and the comfortable sofas and beds…… Thank you for all the little touches of welcome.
