Hafod Cae Maen

Thanks again for another lovely stay, our 10th and our first as a four! Had a lovely week, went on lots of walks and had fun on the beach. Hope to be back soon!

Stayed at the beautiful Hafod once again, this time we stayed for 14 nights as we have so loved our 2 previous stays so much. Set in the most perfect tranquil setting you could imagine, lots of beautiful scenic walks to enjoy. It’s also well worth a walk to Porthmadog via one of the walks that Paul has mapped out in the visitors book, you can get the highland steam train to Caernarfon which is a must to do. Castle Deudraeth is only a short 10 min walk where you can enjoy food and drinks with beautiful views. We have already booked our 2 week stay for 2021 and already can’t wait:-)

Just a wonderful place. A special mention for Gwen and her team who made sure the house was spotless when we arrived and then checked that everything was going well through the week. Hafod Cae Maen is the most fantastic location for a relaxing break. There is so much to do either on foot from the house or further afield in north Wales. Highly recommended.

Our 4th visit and already the children are begging us to book next year. Yet again it’s been the perfect getaway, a little slice of paradise, glorious house and gardens, spectacular views and the ideal spot for exploring. We’ve had a brilliant time, made lots more fabulous memories to keep us going until we can visit again. Thanks again Paul, Claire and Gwen.
