The Experience

You’ll feel very private, so gather up family or friends and immerse yourselves in this dramatic landscape. Rooms are large and there are plenty of them – ideal for multi-generational holidays. Real cooks will be happy in the very well-equipped kitchen and there is plenty of space for helpers at the big table. A separate dining room has the best views.

Choose a book from the secret library door and settle by the fire, play snooker or table tennis in the games room, join the Coast Path for hearty walks or take a picnic to the beach. Return to a sumptuous roll top bath or shower with a view, sleep peacefully in plump beds.

You can walk to pubs in an hour, or sizzle something over the barbecue on the decking. Light the fire pit and watch the stars appear while you make happy memories.

Reviews

The property is enormous, and very well finished. Lots of things to do inside and out. We found a ping pong table in the garage and promptly set it up in the conservatory. There was even a 1/4 size violin which my daughter used to practice. The specification is great, comfy beds, amazing sofas, wood burner, fire fit. Full 4G coverage, and fast free wifi. We spent the days doing coastal walks, and to the local towns. I cannot recommend the property enough, and I cannot wait to go back. My only complaint is that 3 nights is not enough to see everything around.

Daniel, Southsea

Immediately on arrival I was struck by the wonderful panoramic views - the sun beginning to set casting gorgeous light everywhere. You could make a lot of noise in the garden and no one would hear you! Inside is very spacious, very clean and really well kitted out. I ran out of time to pop down to the coastal path and go for a dip on the beach only a 20 minute walk away but maybe next time!

Mor & More offers the most amazing panoramic views, with Saundersfoot and Tenby in the distance. This property was great for our NYE bash with friends, as its lovely and spacious whilst still feeling connected and together. The round dining table made for super fun dinner parties whilst the sofa room offered a space to chill and loose ourself in a movie or two. As a keen open water swimmer, the 20min walk to Marros beach just below the property was convenient and just what everyone needed after the night before!

Location

The neighbourhood

Marros Sands can only be reached on foot so it feels like a private beach; you can also walk to Telpyn and Pendine beaches - if you are lucky with the weather you will have a beach holiday without getting in the car. Amroth village (3 miles) has pubs and cafés, Saundersfoot (7 miles) for more choice and shops. Pendine is 2.5 miles. Tenby and Narberth are both close.

Local points of interest from Anjana Devoy

  • Marros Sands, the closest beach to Mor & More, is a wild and wind-swept beach that, despite boasting a shipwreck and petrified forest, is often deserted as the only access is by foot.
  • A short drive further east along the coast reveals the quaint estuary town of Laugharne with its 12th century Norman castle and Dylan Thomas’s Boathouse (writing shed), both dominating the estuary.
  • Narberth is a picturesque market town within half an hour’s drive of Marros, well-known to foodies and lovers of antiques and curiosities. Try Ultracomida on the high street for a wide selection of Spanish delectations.
  • No trip to the sea would be complete without visiting the historic architectural jewel that is Tenby. Sheltering between the sea and its Norman town wall, the harbour is a picture postcard affair of sea-bobbing boats and pastel-coloured Georgian houses.
  • Wales is a land of castles, and this part of it has its fair share of absolute marvels. Your shortlist will undoubtedly include Pembroke, Manorbier and Carew castles, but there are very many more worth exploring.
  • For a unique culinary experience, ask Anjana and David about forging chef extraordinaire, Matt Powell, formerly head chef at acclaimed Pembrokeshire restaurant, Annwn.
