The Experience

In a small village surrounded by salt marshes is a restoration of a manor house, a pavillion and a pigeonnier. Impeccable but homely, Le Manoir reveals an effortless blend of modern comfort and period style. Light floods into the salon and to the east there’s a distant sea view. Le Pavillon is separated into two apartments (taken separately or together)and in the quirky Pigeonnier, with a tight spiral stair, the style is ‘handsome hunting lodge’.

Each house has its own small garden and all are welcome on the large lawn with tables, chairs and deckchairs. Kitchens have everything a cook could want and you’ll find a generous hamper of local produce and a bottle of estate olive oil.

Borrow bikes, sail, swim, hike along the coast (you’re just 3kms from Ravenoville’s hut-lined sands, and the famous beach at Utah). Birdwatch in the ‘marais’, dine out in Sainte-Mère-Église. Return to much comfort.

Three amazingly restored buildings, rich in history, but also full of elegance. Each one provides stylish comfort and views of the domaine's extensive park. Stroll the grounds, sit by the water fountain among the old castle's ruins or maybe embark on a small boat for a contemplative afternoon. The domaine is also perfectly located for exploring the nearby beaches and historic sites... Enjoy!

Location

The neighbourhood

Ravenoville is a quiet village between the very popular tourist destinations of Sainte-Mère-Église and Utah Beach. A super retreat after a busy day of sightseeing or activities. A short distance from the house you can play golf or tennis, ride horses, have fun with water sports, birdwatch and visit many museums - mainly relating to the D-Day beaches. Walk 5 minutes to a bar, shop and two restaurants.

Located on the Cotentin Bay, the Domaine de Ravenoville offers you a large choice of beaches : fine sand, pebbles, rocks, long stretched beaches, small hidden coves .... a large choice for leisure activities (fishing, walks, sand yacht, kiting...) !
Enjoy the best oysters in Normandy and tour Saint Vaast la Hougue oyster basins with a member of the farm !
WWII Memorial Sites and Museums - Airborn Museum, Utah Beach, Omaha Beach...
At only 5 min from Ravenoville is a beautiful golf. Family and casual atmosphere !
