The
Experience

Rebecca and Michel run a charming B&B in the family resort of Montgenèvre, just 1km from Italy. Homemade breads, honey from their bees and croissants from the bakery are eaten round a communal table which has stunning mountain views. Dinner is served here too – regional French dishes with a twist. You can ski all day on the pistes (starting from the garden), nip over to Italy, visit the weekday market, cycle in summer. Return to an honesty bar, a very welcoming living room with a beautiful fireplace, TV and billiards in a separate room, indoor and outdoor hot tubs for weary limbs, very comfortable bedrooms with balconies.

Reviews

Fabulous chalet. We have been almost every year for about 10 years and once in the summer. Its a beautiful area and great skiing in winter - usually has more snow than other resorts. The chalet is right on the piste so you can ski in ski out - tea and cake when you get back. Food is served 5 out of 7 nights if you want to eat in and is always excellent. Rebecca and Michel always make us very welcome.
