Dromore House Country House

Really enjoyed our stay at Dromore House. Thank you, Angela for your warm hospitality and exquisite breakfasts!

Dromore House is a charming Country House in the countryside outside Coleraine. It is superbly located within 3 acres of well cared for gardens and the interior is as charming as you will find anywhere. It is an amazing place to stay but what makes it special is Angela, the owner. Nothing is too much trouble for Angela, her attention to detail is amazing and some lovely little thoughtful touches make you feel so welcome. The Breakfast is superb with lovely choices for the both the health conscious and those that need a full Ulster Breakfast fix!!! Locally sourced food is if the highest quality.

Angela is a charming and helpful host. She picked us up with her car when we were lost and leads us through a jungle of one way streets to find Dromore-house. Her homemade breakfast is absolutely fantastic! She gave us many good information for trips. Our room was clean, quiet and nice. Sitting in the lounge with lots of books and open fire was the perfect end of each day.

Absolutely fantastic accommodation. Angela is charming and incredibly helpful. We stayed in the Old Scullery which was perfect; private yet not isolated. The garden is beautifully maintained and very peaceful.

Dromore House was one of the best places where we have stayed during our trip in the Northern of Ireland. Angela is a lovely host and makes you feel welcome and at home. She makes the best breakfast ever! The house is an ideal base for discovering beautiful sites nearby. The rooms are large and the bed is very comfortable. The bathroom looked like one in a ferry tale. Everything was nice and clean. I would really recommend this B&B!

A lovely BnB. Outstanding breakfast and Angela was a great host and a mine of local information. The grounds are beautiful, full of mature trees and shrubs - mostly indigenous species also a lovely fruit and veg kitchen garden beside the summerhouse. We spent an idyllic 4 days in a lovely peaceful environment.

We had a fantastic stay at Dromore House. From booking to departure, Angela made sure our experience was faultless. Highlights include our enormous, luxurious room (a Superior King), the breakfast(s) with wonderful local produce and access to the Drawing Room, for board games and a special cup of coffee (if you know you know!). The list of Dromore House’s outstanding qualities is long - suffice to stay we are considering a return trip to Northern Ireland just to stay at Dromore House again!

This is an amazing place to stay- very relaxed, comfortable and quiet. Angela really goes the extra mile and her breakfasts are cooked with a real attention to detail. All produce is locally sourced and homemade if at all possible. She is an accomplished hostess whose home is a treasure trove of beautiful objects and art; yet Angela manages to make you feel like an old friend coming to stay at her country retreat. After four visits in two years we can wholeheartedly recommend this establishment. Everything about it is just wonderful and we are very much looking forward to our next visit.

Another first class stay at Dromore House. A perfect warm welcome in the drawing room with a cosy fire with tea and homemade shortbread. A beautiful room ‘The Willow’ with its sumptuous Egyptian cotton bedding to the gorgeous roll top bath. Angela our host is a wealth of local knowledge and always makes our visits just perfect. Nothing is too much trouble. Breakfast is delicious, extremely high quality, from homemade potato bread, wheaten bread and fruit compotes and also using local suppliers. This was our fourth visit and won’t be our last! We highly recommend this stunning house.

An absolutely wonderful stay at Dromore House! Angela, could not have been more helpful recommending local places to visit and her breakfasts were completely delicious. Our room was perfect, the bed incredibly comfortable and had the best night's sleep in a long time! Such a peaceful location with beautiful grounds and views. Would highly recommend for a visit to Northern Ireland.

Absolutely beautiful Georgian house in stunning woodland grounds. And We played our first ever game of croquet on the lawn. Angela was a lovely hostess and awesome chef. Our Family agreed that her breakfast was the finest we ever had.

One of the best places we have ever stayed, we cannot recommend Angela’s beautiful home, food, beds and shower enough. Such a warm caring person, whose catering skills and management far exceeded any expectations. We had the most wonderful stay here and cannot wait to return.

A fabulous, homely country house in a quiet but convenient location for exploring most of N Ireland. Angela is a really welcoming and friendly host who offers exceptional, delicious home-cooked breakfasts with produce from the bountiful kitchen garden. A lovely relaxed atmosphere with gracious drawing room and dining room and well appointed bedrooms with lovely linen and duvets etc. A excellent place to stay.

A masterclass in how a country house bed and breakfast should be. Charming and knowledgeable, Angela's thought of everything: scones and tea the afternoon you arrive, shortbread in the room, fruit cake miraculously replacing the shortbread! Fabulous bed and bathrooms with delicious bedlinen, and soft towels, but feels like a family home not a magazine. Log fire on a cool evening. Beautiful garden with great views. Breakfast with home made jams, bread, and stewed fruit before the perfectly cooked works or day's special such as eggs Benedict. Even a proper cup of coffee. Altogether magical

We stayed at Dromore House for two nights during October to explore a part of Northern Ireland we had never visited. Angela was a very welcoming hostess who really did everything to make our stay as pleasant and comfortable as possible. The house is in a very quiet location with lovely views very close to Coleraine and the fascinating coastline. The bedroom and bathroom are very well appointed and we were able to make use of the drawing room in the evenings. Breakfast was superb, especially the eggs benedict! A real home from home and one we could thoroughly recommend.

We spent three nights at Dromore House and thoroughly enjoyed our time there. Angela is a superb host and her breakfasts are absolutely wonderful. The house is a joy - extremely comfortable and beautifully furnished. The location is ideal for exploring the coast and countryside. We would encourage anyone planning to visit this area to stay here. It is a special place.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Dromore House. Everything from the warm welcome, log fire and cream tea on arrival was impressive. Angela was most helpful in providing advice on places to eat for lunch and in the evening. The range of options for breakfast was outstanding and the accommodation was comfortable and tasteful. Dromore house is well situated to visit the North Antrim coast and Donegal.
