The Experience

Half the property is divided into separate cottages, one with views over the garden, the other looking over the pool. Both are decorated well and have high, beamed ceilings, light wooden floors, comfortable seating and colourful art. A shared, covered terrace offers welcome shade, there’s a quiet reading area, outdoor dining table and benches for long lunches and a Kamado Joe for outdoor cooking. The pool has terraces with sun beds but on rare rainy days you’ll find books, board games and a flat-screen TV.

There are four bedrooms in the large cottage and the smaller one is a bolthole for two. All have sumptuous bedding with colourful throws and open onto the terrace or the swimming pool so you can drift seamlessly in and out. Children will enjoy watching the donkeys and goats bounding around the paddock, you will feel peaceful in this deep countryside – France at its best.

A welcome basket of local wine and bread awaits.

Local points of interest from Bérangère Lacombe

  • The house is located in a 33-hectare estate in the Quercy Blanc where you can walk through the meadows and woods, go mountain biking, and meet the donkeys and the goats. There’s even a ULM runway.
  • We’re 30 minutes away from the famous village of Montcuq where we have a concept store, and there's also a home decor store, clothes shops and an ice cream shop.
  • For foodies, there are lots of regional dishes that include duck such as confit of duck, duck breast fillet…
  • Just 20 minutes away from the beautiful village of Lauzerte, the estate is an ideal base for exploring the Quercy Blanc.
  • The house is very comfortable and thoughtfully decorated, there’s a pool, and the surroundings are very peaceful – you’ll have an unforgettable holiday here.
  • A chance for children and adults to connect with nature.
