The Experience

You’re deep in the Sierra Morena surrounded by hectares of pasture, so very tempting to arrive and take root. Breakfasts are delivered: fresh fruit, muesli and yogurt, cured local meats, freshly baked rolls with butter and honey. There’s also a menu for lunch and dinner, a plunge pool for cooling down (some are larger than others) and a lovely private terrace where you can while away your holiday watching birds, staring at much greenery, smelling the fragrant woodland.

More energetic souls can organise kayaking, wood massage therapy and lots more. You can walk all day in this stunning savannah spotting black pigs, horses and cattle, stroll around the lake or order all sorts of packages and treats. As darkness falls you can watch a myriad of stars appearing in the dark skies.

Hermits can squirrel themselves away with microwave, toaster and kettle; fridges and mini-bars are well stocked. A grand spot for writers, artists, lovers and those who seek peace in nature.

Reviews

We spent a really romantic days celebrating our wedding anniversary. The bed is the more confortable we have slept in and the best thing was the view from it. Thanks to staff for every detail they have had with us.

Sarah, Manchester

I spent a few days with my family and we were delighted. The staff is very kind and helpful, the environment was lovely and the mini bar is one of the most complete we have ever seen. It was a pleasant surprise to see animals inside the complex, our children were in love with them!! We look forward to returning!

Peter, Birmingham

An eco-friendly glamping site with bright and spacious suites in a secluded, tranquil setting – this is certainly a special place. We were warmly welcomed by Jorge. Ideal for couples or anyone wanting to get away from it all and see a different side of Spain, although the sites of Córdoba are only 30 minutes away.

Location

The neighbourhood

Adamuz, the closest place to shop or eat out, is 6km away and there's a taxi service. Here you'll find plenty of bars and restaurants – El Chaparro is open all week and Antojos at weekends. There's an excellent bakery, La Purisma. Córdoba is a half-hour drive for wandering ancient, narrow streets full of Moorish history and spending time at the Mezquita, one of the greatest Islamic buildings.

Introducing

Jorge Sanchez

Rafael from Córdoba and Jorge from Galicia met 15 years ago when they worked together in Northern Ireland. They were keen to set up a glamping site that was exceptional so rented this land from Rafael's family and, along with Rafael's brother Jesús, started work on their grand design. They've given much thought to their experiences which include stargazing while listening to Spanish guitar.
