Travelling turns food from simple sustenance into cultural experience, whether you’re buying curious veg in a market, pointing hopefully at an untranslatable menu or enjoying a speciality dish on its home turf.
Here are some delicious ways to taste some local flavour, from agriturismi in Italy to France’s food regions and Sunday roasts.
