The Experience
This small cluster of houses, surrounded by low-lying hills and vineyards, includes the guesthouse and the owners’ home next door. Each bedroom has its own entrance, private terrace with views, luxurious beds and walk-in rain showers. Breakfast is a sociable, buffet-style affair in the kitchen, or on the main terrace with its umbrellas and tables: freshly baked fruit tarts, breads, local cheeses – Robiola and Murrazano, sliced ham and prosciutto. With a bit of notice Annamaria can prepare local specialities for dinner too.
Take a book to the terrace or the manicured lawn for more view-gazing – it’s very quiet with just the occasional passing tractor. Antonio is the wine connoisseur so can organise tours for you, or picnics, cheese experiences, wonderful cycling and walking (guided if you prefer), even a day out on a Vespa.
The nearest town is Mango, 2kms, for shops and a rather bulky castle. Inside you’ll find an Enoteca with good wines.

Location
The neighbourhood
Beyond the pristine lawn is a walled garden, fruit orchard, then open countryside with the peaks of Monte Rosa Alps in the distance. There are walks and cycles from the door or drive through hazelnut trees along a dirt road to Mango for a bar, pharmacy, church, food and clothes shops. Barbaresco and Coazzolo are both 10kms for unforgettable meals involving truffles and panoramic hillside views.
Local points of interest from Annamaria Cai
- In the morning as soon as you wake up you can listen in all peace to the humming of our birds, we love this peace.
- We are located in a strategic point of the Langhe, just 5km from the best resataurants. We recommend L'osteria dell'Asilo, Vintriga, Campamac Osteria di Level, Cantina del Rondò.
- Book a tasting of three glasses, in the "Marrone" cellar of La Morra. A family business

Introducing
Annamaria Cai
Annamaria and Antonio have restored the family property (you stay in the house which belonged to an aunt) because they love having guests. They really want you to explore the beauty, history and wine culture of their region. Their son Davide is also involved, so it's a family affair. They greet you enthusiastically, may put fresh flowers in your room and certainly a bottle of local wine.
Set yourselves up here at Annamaria and Antonio's comfortable home and easily tour the highly scenic Langhe wine country under their guided suggestions. You are in good hands and have a wealth of activities available through their partnership with a local destination management company. Personalized wine tours, vespa or e-bike excursions, and truffle hunts and lessons among many choices.
